Built in the 1970s, this 18-story building at 5600 Fishers Lane went through a complete renovation of more than 300,000 SF. The transformation earned the facility a LEED Platinum Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program.

This iconic building in Montgomery County, also known as the Parklawn Building, has housed government agencies for more than 45 years. Conveniently situated less than a half mile from the Twinbrook Metro Station, it now provides first-class office space for approximately 4,500 federal employees.

The renovation included a new glass curtain wall re-skin, complete retrofit with all new building systems, green roof design, and a stunning 14-story atrium. Floor plans were reconfigured to provide access to natural light for almost all of the office space.
