Fox Hall Ridge is a residential development of 35 townhomes located at 4460 MacArthur Boulevard in the District of Columbia. This prestigious location in the Fox Hall and Palisades neighborhoods features both urban and suburban access and amenities, all within a short walk to Georgetown and the waterfront.

The site was determined to have wetlands on the property, making it one of the few properties in the District with that distinction. In addition, the site was a defunct hospital surrounded by residential properties.

The Developer, Project Planner, VIKA, and District agency staff collaborated in the creation of a project layout that does not impact the existing wetlands on the site.

The Team also worked intensely with interested neighbors to incorporate as many of the surrounding community’s ideas and solutions as possible into the design layout. The townhouses’ locations, heights, and building façades reflect considerations from all interested parties.

VKA provided civil engineering and surveying services including:

  • Concept development
  • PUD preparation
  • Construction documents and construction administration
  • Boundary and topography documents
  • Site Plans
  • Water and Sewer Plans
  • Stormwater Management Plans
  • Public Space Plans
  • As-builts.
