Fairfax County is purchasing an existing private school for conversion to a new public school to address overcrowding and create a new high school in the western portion of the county.

VIKA prepared the ALTA survey that supports the purchase. By acquiring the existing school and site the county reduces the financial burden of developing a new school from the ground up and reduces the timeframe for the new high school to become operational.
