A 25+ year VIKA veteran, Anika has been instrumental in shaping VIKA Capitol’s growth over the last nine years. As Assistant Director of Survey and VP of the DC Association of Land Surveyors, she exemplifies dedication to mentorship, community impact, and professional development. Her continued ties with Howard University and commitment to the next generation of surveyors have made her a pillar of our team.

Since 2014, Brian has been an indispensable team player at VIKA Capitol. A licensed landscape architect with decades of experience, he has taken on leadership roles across engineering, planning, and landscape architecture. Brian’s collaborative spirit and broad expertise make him a key driver of project success—and his strategic mindset extends from site plans to the golf course.

A Northwestern University graduate, Kyle has excelled as an engineer since joining in 2012. Known for his creative solutions and ability to expedite permitting processes, Kyle is a trusted advisor to clients and a mentor to staff. Kyle continues to grow as a leader and has become a strong mentor figure in the office with a unique ability to teach a broad range of topics to our staff.
Lisa began her VIKA journey in 1997 as an Administrative Assistant in the Survey Department, with no prior experience in the field. Through her unparalleled dedication and hunger for knowledge, she grew into one of the most respected Land Surveyors in the region—a true testament to her perseverance and passion.
Since joining four years ago to lead our Transportation Department, Mike has built one of the most respected teams in the region. His leadership and strategic vision continue to drive innovation and excellence.
Peter joined VIKA seven years ago and has steadily advanced from Senior Landscape Architect to Director of Planning. Now as a Member, he brings 35+years of award-winning sustainability and environmental design expertise to our Planning and Landscape Architecture team.
Since joining VIKA in 1999, Ryan has gained extensive experience in Surveying and Geomatics. He currently leads our Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Department and is recognized for his deep technical knowledge.
Steve has more than 27 years of Dry Utility Engineering (DUE) experience, six of which have been with VIKA. He has played a crucial role in expanding our DUE Department and building strong, lasting client relationships.
As our new Director of Marketing, Katherine brings over 20 years of marketing expertise to VIKA. Her strategic leadership advances our brand through integrated marketing, business development, and communications initiatives.
Conor graduated in 2019 from Louisiana State University and joined VIKA Virginia in 2020. Since then, he has been a vital member of our Civil Engineering Department and earned his PE license in 2024.
A Landscape Architecture graduate from the University of Kentucky, Jacob joined VIKA in 2019. Recently earning his AICP certification, he has become a key player in our cross-disciplinary efforts in urban planning.
