John F. Amatetti, PE and Charles A. Irish, Jr, PE, LS, LEED AP have been named to the Board of Directors of VIKA Companies, LLC

As newly appointed members of the Board of Directors of VIKA Companies, LLC, Charles A. Irish, Jr, PE, LS, LEED AP and John F. Amatetti, PE will continue to guide the firm’s philosophy.  John Amatetti will continue to practice as both a Founding Principal and the Managing Member of VIKA Virginia, LLC, and Founding Principal of VIKA Capitol advancing its philosophy and guiding principles.  Charles A. Irish, Jr. will continue to practice as both a Founding Principal and the Managing Member of VIKA Maryland, LLC, continuing to lead initiatives and client needs.  As respected design leaders in the land development community they will continue to serve VIKA clients as they have for 42 years.

P. Christopher Champagne, PE has been named President & Executive Director of VIKA Companies, LLC

With more than 30 years of distinguished professional practice and his successful leadership role on many high-profile projects, Chris Champagne’s new role as President & Executive Director of VIKA Companies, LLC is integral, intrinsic, and essential to our future success and ensures that we remain well-positioned to meet and adapt to the future demands of growth and flexibility in an increasingly dynamic and complex land development market.  Chris’ vision and leadership skills will advance our firm’s strategic services expansions and enhance our innovative services including cutting-edge site designs for our clients and the land development community.

Chris will become the second President in VIKA’s 42-year history and will provide stewardship of the firm and its legacy, vision, and future strategic development, while also overseeing our corporate day-to-day operations.  His leadership and work alongside with his fellow Principals, Partners, and the dedicated professionals of the firm will be guided by our common principle – Our Site Set on the Future.   Remaining true to VIKA’s core value of “Practicing Principals”, Chris’ time and attention also remains focused on his current leadership role as VIKA Virginia’s Director of Production and Engineering and VIKA Capitol’s Director of Operations.

Robert R. Cochran, LS has been named Principal Director of VIKA Virginia, LLC

Bob will become VIKA Virginia’s new Principal Director, while also continuing his current leadership role as its Director of Planning. With more than 32 years of entitlement and land surveying experience, Bob has a deep understanding of the entire process and how to ensure project success from start to finish. Bob’s focus will center on client interaction, business development and seamless project delivery while leading a deep bench of talented partners
