1401 Wilson Boulevard

Arlington, VA
The 1401 Wilson Boulevard redevelopment is a major mixed-use project in Arlington VA, that will replace two outdated office buildings with two new high-rise towers totaling about 916,000 square feet.

The plan includes a 32-story residential tower with 350,000 square feet of apartments, a 40,000-square-foot grocery store, a 29-story office tower with 514,000 square feet of office space and 52,000 square feet of retail. The project also features a 1.25-acre public plaza that connects the towers, enhances the streetscape experience, and provides a key east-west pedestrian link in the County’s overall “18th Street Corridor” a major pedestrian link to the Rosslyn Metro Station.

The project targets LEED Platinum for the office tower and LEED Silver for the residential tower, with five levels of below-grade parking. VIKA is providing entitlement, surveying, transportation, and dry utility engineering services in support of the development. Once complete, the project will transform this key Rosslyn block into a vibrant, mixed-use destination with retail, public open space, and modern residential and office environments.
