VIKA provided a detailed courtyard amenity design for a 400-unit apartment building located within a larger 37-acre mixed residential development. The courtyards provide a balanced mix of active and passive recreation opportunities that address the wide-ranging needs of multiple age groups. The primary amenities include: a pool, outdoor movie area with a combination fountain feature / retractable movie screen, grilling and sitting area, outdoor fireplace and seating area, multi-function/programmable space for yoga and other classes, turf play area, three overhead trellis structures above secluded seating areas, an open grass play area, and lush planting beds throughout providing spatial separation and privacy.
