Inova Franconia-Springfield New Community Hospital Topping Out

VIKA provided civil engineering and site design, planning and entitlement, surveying, transportation engineering, and subsurface utility engineering for this new 985,000 square foot state-of-the-art medical facility located on the 21-acre Inova HealthPlex campus. The first phase of the project includes a 110-bed hospital with advanced emergency care and surgical services, specialized inpatient care, and an outpatient center for orthopedic and surgical services.

On track for completion in 2028, the new Franconia-Springfield community hospital is part of Inova’s continued expansion and transformation of healthcare access and the patient experience in Northern Virginia.
