Mike is a Professional Transportation Planner (PTP) with more than 25 years of experience leading and managing transportation engineering and planning projects. He leads the transportation team at VIKA Virginia, ensuring safe, efficient and sustainable infrastructure solutions across residential, commercial, institutional, mixed use, and transit-oriented projects. His knowledge of VDOT standards and local regulations ensures high quality designs and facilitates timely approvals. Additionally, Mike’s understanding of the region’s traffic patterns and demands allow him to develop design plans that address congestion, walkability, accessibility, maintainability and remain flexible to shifting transportation patterns.
