Ryan is the Director of Subsurface Utility Engineering, bringing extensive experience in planning, managing, and safely delivering comprehensive utility investigations across residential, educational, commercial, and governmental projects. With a strong background in SUE quality levels, risk mitigation, work safety, and coordination with design, construction, and municipal stakeholders, he leads VIKA’s integrated survey, GIS, designating, and construction stake-out teams to ensure accurate utility data and locations, reduce project risk, and improve project outcomes. Ryan has more than 25 years of experience, is a Certified Survey Technician – Level III, is a member of the National Society of Professional Surveyors, and received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology & Architecture Engineering Technology from Bluefield State College.
